Great job with your mechanics—your fastball has a lot of life, and it’s clear that when you keep your front elbow aligned with the catcher, you’re able to generate more sync and control. This synchronization really helps your fastball stay on target, and it also makes your changeup more effective. When you keep your front elbow on the target, your changeup tracks similarly to your fastball, making it harder for hitters to pick up the difference in speed.
Coach Rick emphasized the importance of getting the ball through the catcher and getting your front side through to the catcher, and this is crucial for improving your overall delivery. Staying on target longer will help you stay more consistent with your pitches. Focus on improving your extension—by getting more extension toward the catcher, you'll generate more power, accuracy, and movement on your pitches.
Keep focusing on these adjustments, and your command and effectiveness will continue to improve. You're on the right track—keep up the great work!

Your load is looking good, but one area to refine is slowing down your tempo a bit. It's important to get into your load and properly engage your backside before initiating the rotation. Once you're fully loaded, focus on rotating your hips through, allowing your hands to travel smoothly toward centerfield. Right now, you're getting to contact, but you’re spinning out a little too early, which leads to rolling over on the ball.
Focus on taking the knob of the bat to the ball, aiming it directly toward the pitcher first, and then extending it toward centerfield. This will help create a more direct bat path and improve your extension through the ball. By finishing high, you'll be able to stay through the ball longer and drive it with more authority.
With a slower, more controlled tempo and these adjustments, you’ll stay in the hitting zone longer and see better consistency in your swing. Keep working on these details, and you’ll continue to make great progress!
