Coach Biography
Curt Conley attended Northmont High School from 1986-89. Curt is a member of the Northmont Athletics Hall of Fame, the NHS Baseball Hall of Fame, and the NHS Football Hall of Fame. Posted an 18-6 career pitching mark and helped the school win 2 league titles and the school’s first District Championship in 1988, still ranking 3rd in school history in ERA and 7th in strikeouts.
Curt was a 4-year letter winner at Ball State University and was voted Ball State’s most valuable pitcher 3 consecutive years while setting the single season wins record. Tossed BSU’s first complete game no hitter against Miami University in 1992 and threw the first and only no-hitter in the history of the Great Lakes Collegiate summer league with the Muncie Chiefs.
Curt was drafted in the June 1993 baseball amateur draft by the Colorado Rockies in the 26th round and played several years in the minors as a left-handed relief pitcher.
Curt was a Head Coach in the Clayton Wildcats organization for 6 years and has coached at RSA for 2 years. Curt has served as an Instructor at Reb Sports Academy for over 15 years. Curt is married to his wife Stacy and has a son named Colt.
